My views haven’t changed much. The biometric keys add security, but don’t solve the problem of handling loss of a key. I (via my company, DiceKeys) have since partnered with the SoloKeys team to provide two-factor FIDO keys that can be replicated and replaced if lost, which does address the problem of loss.
